Visiting the states

Technically I will be in 3 countries today....Oman, UAE and USA.

I'm flying to Abu Dhabi today from Oman. It is only a 1 hour flight. Then I am going to the US Embassy to a second passport.

I visited the US Embassy.... It took all of 15 minutes to be checked on the list to be allowed to enter, go through security (they take phones, smart watches, car keys....), have my application checked, sign an affidavit, pay at the cashier desk, receive my slip to pickup my passport and get my items back from security. It was amazingly efficient. The last time I was there I was bored out of my mind because they actually added pages to my passport (which is no longer allowed) in an hour. So in a couple of weeks I will have 2 US passports =)

At 2AM I will actually be flying to the states... Likely only for days.
