The impossible turn.... or Abu Dhabi to Doha, Qatar

My attempt to return from Abu Dhabi to Qatar saga...

Check in at Etihad...

- Can only get boarding pass to Muscat, Oman

- Bags can only be checked to Muscat, Oman

--- This means that I have to:

----- Purchase a visitor visa for Oman (5 Omani Riyals)

----- Go through immigration in Oman

----- Retrieve luggage in Oman

----- Exit through customs in Oman

----- Check in at the Oman Air counter and check my bags to Doha, Qatar

----- Go through security in Oman

Luckily I was able to achieve all of that without missing my connecting flight. However Oman Air would not allow me to take my AUH-MCT boarding pass with me.... but I do have a picture of it.

Although the bags took nearly an hour to get on the belt I was pleasantly surprised to arrive at the hotel in Doha with both of my bags.
