South Africa Trip - Day 5 [Cape Town]

Today we had a free day. There were a couple of optional tours available (Winelands and shark cage diving), however the shark diving was preemtively cancelled due to the weather.

Table Mountain opened at 08:00. We met for breakfast at 08:00. There was a heavy rain just before 08:00. We checked the website and it was indeed open. I ordered an Uber and went directly to Table Mountain. The cable car has a rotating floor. The view from the top is amazing.

When we finally left the queue at the bottom was massive. Luckily we arrived early enough to avoid the queue.

I ordered another Uber and we visited the South African Jewish Museum and the holocaust museum. They had some propaganda that I had not seen before. It's crazy that one crazy man was able to brainwash an entire country.

We had lunch in the cafe in the area with the museums. I had fish and chips.

We walked through the company gardens and past some street vendors. In the company gardens we came across an albino squirrel.

I eventually ordered another Uber to go back to the Waterfront. We walked through the Water Shed and watched some musicians preform.

In the evening I bought some snacks for tomorrow at Spar and had dinner at pizza hut.
