South Africa Trip - Day 11 [Johannesburg]

We had a late start this morning, 0830 departure from the hotel.

We started by driving to Soweto Township. We drove by Desmond Tutu's house on our way to Nelson Mandela's house.

We had a tour of Neslon Mandela's house (it was a fairly small 2 bedroom house.

We then went to the Hector Peterson museum (no pictures allowed inside).

We spent 2 hours at the Apartheid museum, however it wasn't enough time. There are a lot of text to read and it takes time to go through and read the information. No pictures were allowed inside this museum either.

After the Apartheid museum we went back to the hotel.

We had lunch at an African restaurant called Moyo. I had a 500g T-Bone which was very inexpensive.
