This morning after breakfast I was setting up my GoPro on the back of the ship and the door was quite difficult to open on the deck. Only after setting it up did I notice the other passengers looking at damage on the ship. Apparently in the early morning the ship hit a bridge. Mostly cosmetic damage on the sundeck.

We started the day with a walking tour in Wertheim. The city was amazing and I spent the free time walking up to the top of the castle. The view from the castle was great.

From Wertheim they took us by bus to Miltenberg because the journey by ship was 4-5 hours long due to the locks and slow speed on the river. Again we had a nice tour of part of the village and only returned when the ship arrived at around 1:30 PM. I had lunch on the ship before exploring some more in Miltenberg.

We stumbled upon a brewery that had a store open and bought some beer - they were only 1.20 Euro each and had very nice bottles. The beer went back to the ship in the fridge.

I hiked up to the castle and up to the top of the tower. The view from the castle was great. They also had an art museum inside the castle. There was a very nice wooded area outside the city walls. The city was much quieter at 5 PM with significantly less people (and more enjoyable). I got back to the ship with 15 minutes before the all aboard time.

For dinner pretty much everyone had the lamb. It was very nice and literally fell off the bone.

After dinner they gave us one round of free drinks because the captain hit the bridge in the morning.
