River Cruise - Day 13 [Day 9 of Cruise - Bamberg, Germany]

We arrived in Bamberg early this morning, but since it was a 30 minute walk from the dock I waited until they took us by bus to the city.

After breakfast we departed for the walking tour at 09:00.

The cathedral was in the middle of Good Friday service. I popped in briefly, but it was fairly plain on the inside. The old town hall in the middle of the river was the most interesting part of the city. There were quite a few half-timbered houses as well.

For lunch I had some veal stew, and the four cheese grilled sandwich.
