Qatar Trip - Post #6: Departure

I'm headed back to the states a week later than expected. I'll have enough time at my house to do laundry, pack and get a much needed haircut.

I have one of the craziest routings. Because hardly any airline flies to Doha I am flying Lufthansa. Unfortunately the first segment stops in Kuwait on the way to Frankfurt. From Frankfurt I then fly to Chicago and finally United to Houston.

The highlight is that I get to fly my favorite equipment across the pond - the new Boeing 747-8i. I also managed to snag a seat in the upper deck. I wish Lufthansa would fly it to Houston... It's a much better aircraft than the A380.
