Overnight in Doha, Qatar

My very long day started in the desert at 6:15 AM. We started driving to Muscat at 10:00. I arrived at the airport shortly after 2:00 PM. I had hoped to change my flight from 10:10 PM to 5:35 PM, but despite 3 attempts I failed and spent 8 hours in the airport. Still seemingly more convenient than a very early morning flight from Muscat. 

The view of the map is a bit misleading.  The phone was off during my flight, so it drew a straight line between Muscat and Doha. Obviously that isn't possible on Qatar Airways, so we flew around the UAE.

I stayed at the Marriott nearby the airport.  It isn't brilliant,  but close.
