This morning I took the tube to the Baker St station and walked to the Wallace Collection. It is a small, but nice and free museum.

I then took the tube back to Paddington to collect my luggage from the hotel and also had a quick bite to eat.

After collecting my luggage I walked to the lift for the circle and Hammersmith lines in the correct direction, however when I got to the tube entrance it was closed for maintenance. Apparently I didn't do enough reconnaissance last night. I went back to take the Bakerloo line to Baker St then Metropolitan to Kings Cross. I had time to spare and got my train ticket from the machine easily.

The train ride to Nottingham was fairly queit. The engines are in the undercarriage of the car, so you can hear them. Most of the scenery is green fields of farmland.
