Today was not a crystal clear day. Unfortunately the tour to Mt Fuji was only available on this day.
The sticker for our tour. I paid $15 extra for the lunch to be included... I figured anyplace the bus stopped would be a tourist trap with very expensive food.
The itinerary.
We went to the lake first, then the Oshino Eight Seas (most of the ponds were not spectacular, and it was a tourist trap, at least a couple of them offered nice scenery). then we went to the Ninja Village were we had lunch, then the 4D movie and finally Mt Fuji.

The view from the lake... imagine Mt Fuji... way too overcast to see it. Apparently it is much easier to see in the winter time.

I really liked the moss on this stone wall.
At the Ninja Village. They had rubber throwing stars and foam targets, some stepping stones in a small pond so you could look like you were walking on water.
Our lunch. A hot pot. The food was great. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of it. Tempura chicken was the main course, but they also had pork curry with rice and other Japanese food. I didn't leave hungry.

And finally Mt Fuji. I had to wait until last, so you had to wait too.
Just as we got off the bus the mountain magically displayed itself for a brief amount of time.
No snow on the summit at the moment.
The 5th station is literally 50% up the mountain. This is the highest you can go without hiking.
The mountain reappears...
I had to try the traditional Japanese burger place.....
