This morning I was going to go to Senso-Ji in Asakusa before all the tourists showed up, but went to the Imperial Palace to see if I could get a ticket for the tour (you get inside the palace, but not inside any buildings)

I thought I was a few minutes late. It was 0933 when I read this sign. The Imperial Palace isn't open to the public except for these tours.
Luckily they still had tickets. They only allow 300 people per tour (my number was 230).
The guide app is very good. The tour guide gave the same information that the app showed.

After the tour of the Imperial Palace I visited the East Gardens which is open to the public - and free.
I missed the 11am tour. I took the picture for information.
The stones were cracked. It looked very artistic.

Closer inspection of the lights revealed the lines on the sides tell you how much time is left before it changes.

Now the ultimate tourist trap in Tokyo... Senso-Ji in Asakusa. I don't remember it being this crazy the last time I visited, but it was also February.

After Senso-Ji I went back to Harajuku while things were still open.
This place was selling clothes with this logo... not sure why women would wear anything like that...
I decided to try the pulled pork bacon sandwich at Wendy's. It was a big mistake. Not that great.
Next I took the metro to Roppongi to get some drum sticks from Hard Rock Cafe for a friend.

And finally I walked around Shinjuku at night... lots of strip clubs, bars, etc..
