Jamaica - Day 1

The day hasn't started out great. I was #1 on the upgrade list with 2 available seats. Now I'm #6 without any available seats despite having the highest status level on United and checking in immediately. I'm glad I stopped flying United. Cathay Pacific treated me like a rock star, United treats it's best customers like luggage

I do have an exit row seat. And they will actually give me food... I think. It might only be a snack box .

It took about an hour to get through immigration.

My private transfer was an entire bus.

I was able to check in when I arrived. The 'suite' is a long room and there is a step down to the desk and lounge chair. There is a nice balcony with a loveseat swing and a sofa. I'm facing the pool, but can see the ocean if I look at an angle.

I went back to the lobby bar for a little while then my jet lag caught up to me.
