Europe Trip - Day 5 [Le Creusot, France to Geneva, Switzerland]

This morning I left Le Creusot and drove to Geneva.

On the way I stopped at Chalon-sur-Saone. They had a tourist information center near where I parked and they gave me a nice map for a short walking tour of the city. The city even had markers on the sidewalk to help guide you on the tour.

I parked at the parking lot next to the train station since my hotel was right next to the train station. The hotel was supposed to be 4 stars, but that may have been 30 years ago. They still used actual keys and the room was clean, but not fancy.

I wandered around Geneva taking some photos.

I decided to be lazy and have dinner at the hotel. It was a big mistake. The escargot was horrible and the french fries were soaked in grease - I couldn't eat them.
