Europe Trip - Day 1 [Lyon, France]

This morning I arrived in Geneva, Switzerland. I managed to get a rental car with a manual transmission. I drove to Lyon, stopping at a petrol station along the way for breakfast.

I was unable to check in to the hotel, so I continued to Lyon and walked around Vieux Lyon and up to Fourviere. I was amazed to find Roman theaters.

After walking around Lyon I checked into the Marriott Cité Internationale.

For dinner I ate at a French Restaurant near the hotel. I had a wonderful (but undercooked) steak with a marvelous roasted bone marrow.
