Day 5 in Paris

Started the day at Palais Garnier, the opera House. It was quite amazing.

Unfortunately the auditorium portion was closed, so I didn't get to see all of it...

Saved 3€ by showing my ticket for Musee d'Orsay.

Below is a picture from the Palais Garnier.


From there walked across the Ponte Alexander III bridge to get to Petit Palais (free entry to permanent collection). This was a nice museum and nice that something was actually free...

Walked along the Seine River to the Tuileries garden, and the outside of the Louvre.

I hurried back to a point near the Ponte Alexander III bridge to capture the sunset photo.


Later I retrieved my tripod from the hotel and went out for some night photography.... They had the Arc de Triumph illuminated in green for a climate change meeting...
