Tonight after talking to the folks at visitor information in the Convention Center I went to the Mint Museum which is open until 9 PM on Wednesdays (and has free admission at that time as well). I know what you are thinking - because I was thinking the same thing, but no it is just a modern art museum. Like almost all modern art museums most of the art inside made you ask the question 'How many drugs were these people on at the same time?' In any case it was a decent way to kill some time - and it was free (normally $12 I think). Obviously modern art isn't my thing.
After the museum I had dinner at an Italian place. Was pretty good, but not the most spectacular place. It was called Aria.
