Day 2 of Rhine River Cruise - Breisach Germany and Colmar France

This morning we arrived at the dock in Breisach, Germany much earlier than expected. The ships did have to rearrange themselves in the morning before we disembarked.

Our morning walking tour of Breisach, Germany started at 9:30 AM. We walked up a hill to a nice cathedral and the town hall.

The cathedral has one of the very few remaining 3rd reich emblems on it.

We walked around during our free time before lunch to a viewpoint that overlooked the city.

After lunch we took the optional tour to Colmar, France.

It was about 30 minute drive from Breisach, Germany to Colmar, France. It was quite an amazing city.

I would have liked to spend more time there.

We arrived back at the ship at 6 PM and almost immediately set sail. I set up my GoPro camera for a timelapse video and captures us going through one of the locks.
