China Trip - Post #6: Day 3 of Tour - Beijing to X'ian

Today was an early start, with a lot of travel.

We left the hotel at 07:30 and went to visit another government operated store, this time pearls.

After the shopping stop we visited the summer palace. This is certainly a place that you could spend many hours.

After the summer palace we went to the airport... TSN, because our original flight from Beijing was cancelled due to some international conference. I made use of my gold status on the star alliance to check in at the short queue and access the lounge while waiting for the flight - Air China 1251 (Boeing 737-800).
