China Trip - Post #1: 24 hours to go

My adventure begins.

Last night I returned from Asia (Qatar), a little later than expected thanks to United Airlines. At least the flight across the pond on Lufthansa was good. You don't realize how quiet the 747-8i really is until you get on Airbus and can't even hear the video with earbuds on. I've gone through my mail only to find my tour packet was returned to the tour company because a signature was required and I haven't been home since April 9th. I started to do my laundry and charging my camera batteries.

I've checked into my flights to Beijing.

Still to do:

- pack

- more laundry

- haircut

- reserve parking spot (I still have points I can use)

- research Beijing, X'ian and Shanghai to make use of free time properly
