This morning I visited the Chinese Garden of Friendship in Darling Harbour. It's a nice garden in the midst of the city.
I took a walk through Paddy's market in Chinatown for souvenirs. There were a number of good deals.
The uber took a while to get to the hotel, but eventually I made it to the pier (despite the roadworks). Literally as I walked onto the ship they made the announcement that the staterooms were ready. I dropped off my hand luggage and got some lunch.
I explored the ship a bit before the muster drill. Immediately after the muster drill I set up my GoPro on the only location of the ship I can - the bow on Deck 5.
I had dinner in the main dining room. Unfortunately my 'medium' prime rib was very well done. They gave me another piece, but it was still a bit overcooked, but at least it was tender.
