Today I took advantage of the discounted fares on the train to visit the Blue Mountains. A couple of years ago I visited via a bus tour that left from Sydney. Going by train was much cheaper... it was supposed to be $2.70 each way, but when I got back to Sydney Central train station it didn't charge for the return fare.

There are a few stops in the Blue Mountains. The most popular is Katoomba which has Echo Point where you can see and hike to the 3 sisters.
After hiking to the 3 sisters I continued along the Prince Cliff Walk to Leura Cascades and eventually Leura train station.
In the evening I had dinner at a food court. Honey chicken.....
