Abu Dhabi and Yas Island

My day started with a quick visit to the US Embassy (I don't mean the one with the golden arches). I was inside for maybe 5 minutes and left with a second passport. It's only good for 2 years,  but at least now I have something I can send away for visas. 

In the evening I drove the Yas 3000 around the south course.  Unfortunately my external gps failed to get a signal so I didn't get any lap times. It was still a great experience.  And the video didn't record either,  but I have my video from last year. I looked and felt like I fell into a swimming pool.  It was hot and humid and I was wearing a heavy fire suit.

I took a few pictures of the Grand Mosque since the Ritz Carlton is very close to it.
